With a sigh, Hermione entered the Library with a worn copy of Hogwarts: A History' clutched to her chest. Her faded black vans thudded softly on the floor as she walked, her baggy blue jeans scuffed along the floor with every step she took. It was Saturday and, as usual, she was cooping herself up in the library alone. She didn't really have many friends, just her closest ones and the rest were just the kind you give polite nods to in the corridor as you pass. There had been no sign of either Ron or Harry, so here she was.
With a sigh, she sat at an empty table and opened the book, crossing her legs. It took her a while to realise that she had been reading the same page for the last 20 minutes, exactly the same line to be specific. She slammed the book shut and lay it on the table, resting her head on it as strands of chocolate hair hung over her face.

Jessie had to come to the library to find a quiet spot to study. Its hard for her to study at home with her father always on her back. At the dorm her friends are always yacking away. So she decided to come to the libraray.
As she entered she saw GRanger. she sighed and she walked over to the table where she was sitting. "Is this seat taken Granger" Jessie said with a slight tone. Jessie know she shouldnt be polite to her but then she thinks she really doesnt know granger that much and maybe just maybe she is a cool person.
Jessie didnt wait for a respond she sat down anyway. "What are you reading?" Jessie asked with a curcious look. "Look we kind of got off on a bad foot last year. Im sorry i was so mean and rude. Maybe this year we can try and be friends?" Jessie was now saying with a politer tone.

Hermione raised her eyes to meet the Slytherin's as she brushed strands of her chocolate coloured waves out her eyes, a small yet plotie smile on her face, "No, feel free..." she said as the girl sat anyway, in that posh tone she had. She wondered why Riddle was being polite to her but she didn't query it.
What she said next really confused Hermione but she wasn't one to judge a book by its cover as she nodded, "It's quite alright, I made the mistake of judging you against Malfoy, yes, trying to be friends sounds good..."

Jessie smiled at Hermoine as she was happy that she agreed to be friends. "Thanks, I know you dont trust me for whom i am and my background. But you have to believe me when I say I am nothing like my father. I dont even know if i want to go down the same path as him." Jessie then opened her book and she started to read it.
"Maybe we can go into town later to hangout what do you say."
